The service
Doorknob runs read-only security checks against a live app URL you submit and that you confirm you own or are authorized to test.
Your promises
- You only submit apps you own or have permission to test.
- You will not use Doorknob to scan other people's apps without authorization.
- You understand a clean report means we did not find the problems we check for — not that the app is perfectly secure.
How we scan
Checks are passive and non-destructive. We do not write, delete or change data in your app. We may read a small number of rows from an open table to confirm it is open, and we do not keep those rows.
Accounts and payment
Your first full scan is free. Further scans may require a paid plan once payments are enabled. Prices are shown on the site and may change with notice.
Disclaimer
The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for damages arising from use of the reports, missed findings, or actions you take based on them. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months (or zero if you only used the free scan).
